While we cycle across South America, we meet many other cyclists who already did amazing routes and have many stories to tell. We would like to introduce some of them.


is a german guy who cycled from Alaska to Buenos Aires. He also explored many more countries by bike and gives presentations about his adventures. We met him 2018 on a rainy tour to the baltic sea.

Johanna and David

are a german couple from Freiburg. Shortly after we left Cusco we met on the road and cycled together for 3 weeks. In La Paz we seperated because we had different routes to take. Then we met again in the Salar de Coipasa and cycled together for another week. They’re going to Patagonia.

Ben and Clementine

are brother and sister from France. They love to travel together and started in Columbia to test bicycles for Decathlon. Their plan is to finish the tour in Buenos Aires. We met them at a warmshower hosts place in Ecuador.

Luba, Tom and the dogs

started in May 2017 in Northern America. They cycle with their dogs, Phoebe and Lolo, in a trailer. We met them in Cocachimba, Peru.

is from Sweden. We met him after crossing the border to Peru and cycled together for two days. He wants to go south, but is a lot faster than us.

The parents travel wiith their two little children. They started in Alaska 2017 and want to travel on until daughter turns 6 and has to attend school. Many newspapers and TV as well as radio shows interview them.
